Insta360 Camera Edited Footage

In this first edited video, I experimented with different types of zooming throughout the footage using editing. I also experimented with different angles using the editing. I made anchor points throughout the video- and these anchor points were spots in the footage where the zoom or the angle changed. Between two anchor points the footage would slowly transition between one angle and the next without me having to add in the transition myself. If the first angle was very zoomed out from the behind, and the next point was very closeup from the front, the editing software would slowly zoom back in and move so that the camera was pointed towards the front.

In this second version of the footage I included different anchor points, angles and zooms. I did this to experiment with the different types of zooms and angles to the first version of the footage. I wanted to see which zooms and angles looked the best. I made sure to include different angles to the  the first version, to ensure that I would be able to experiment fully with the different anchor points.

I believe that this way of filming could have its benefits and disadvantages. For example, using the 360 degree footage we could show many different angles and close up shots. We could also film the entire environment at once, such as a whole room. The disadvantages to this type of filming is that it takes a while to have to edit all of the anchor points, and there may be something captured by the 360 camera that was not meant to be captured.
